away in the woods: August through November Development Update

It's been a while. Progress was slow for a good deal, thanks to me working on real life obligations and the hopefully-last beta build of Inn Need. I've definitely fallen behind the schedule I wrote myself in the summer.

But I'm pleased to report I'm back to making regular progress, and a lot of it at that, too! I've finished 4/5 tilesets, including the woods, which was definitely the largest and most intimidating one. Now I'm working on filling in each of the maps.

I have surgery next week, so I'm taking the week after off work and am planning on taking it easy for the rest of the year. I definitely want to do game dev during this time, but I don't want to stress myself out with deadlines, so I'm pretty much just going to do what I can and see where that takes me. At the end of the year, I'll re-write my schedule for myself to plot out what's next!
